Starting Sunday, January 19th, 2014; Proverbs 31 Ministries will begin their “Made to Crave” Online Bible Study.
I have the book. I’ve even read it once. It has some amazing, thought provoking information in it. But I am excited to reread the book. I am excited to talk to other women who are reading the book, to share our insights, learn from each other, and delve deeper into a book that is designed to encourage us to replace our dependency on food, with dependency on God.
Food is good. Yes, it’s yummy, but it also fuels the body. That’s just it, I don’t always see food as fuel, i see it as comfort. An activity when I’m bored. I know I crave food more than I crave God most days. That takes food out of the realm of life sustaining and into the realm of idolatry.
I want to feel like I am more than a number on a scale. I want the first place I turn to after a hard day to be my Bible instead of the plate of fudge.
I joined this Bible study for a new perspective on everything I’ve been doing. If you’d like to check it out, come along. You can click the picture for P31 Online Bible Studies above and it will take you directly to the Online Bible Studies page. We’d love to have you join the journey!
